They are a massive operation, still family ownership, third generation.

Delivered two more loads with my second trainer. Thursday morning I started having issues with my air dryer, struggling to build up and maintain air pressure. I was empty in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, so the decision was made to bounce to the house to get the issue resolved.

The parts prices on these new modern trucks are absolutely ridiculous, the air dryer alone was $1916.78.

I will go load my first solo load Monday in Alabama going to Arkansas.

Friend, ncmickey, Lonesome and 7 others Thank this.

Really? Nice… while I’d never say “never”, I really can’t see me ever driving for anything but a family/individual owned operation.

    Friend Thanks this.

Those air dryers are high priced. I had a 2013 KWT800 and that thing cost about what you paid. Now have a 2016 Coronado glider, after credit for the core my last one cost $87.00.

since there charging the customer by the ton, they should pay the o/o by the ton.that would make it a level playing field.

I used to haul for Oakley, but i usually keep a beard. So I don’t haul for them Anymore. Was a guy named Mike in the office, the old office upfront by the scales, I’ve hauled out with fertilizer and in with their customers corn using my truck/trailer, never any issues, but they all look at you crazy cause you got a beard.
Personally I think your attire means more than a beard and mustache ever will.
I no longer haul for them. Haven’t in the last 3-4 years l, know guys who do, they say the loader guy there always asks about me to the ones that still haul from there, cause I hauled for 10 years.
