Looking at purchasing a 2020 Mack Anthem, any concerns?

Hey Elroy. Congrats on purchase. Ask dealer if camshaft has been replaced yet. If not, it has close to 100% failure rate for spun injector lobes.

Another thing, if it has the pull out fridge/freezer. It’ll start sticking. Get wd40 contact cleaner, so it won’t leave residue, say you shut down for the weekend and fridge is off, spray the metal tracks. Work it a few times. Then it’ll go bs j super easy and not having to worry about breaking off the handle as some people go with force. I keep a can in truck. Gotta air duster can I use for the thermoking apu controls, sometimes I’ll have to spray dust off them with knobs removed in all the dust I get into with hoppers.

 

Mind sharing your gear ratio, engine specs and fuel mileage?
