Im running a roll off truck right now, it has a red light when the rails are up as well as an alarm that you can hear from outside of the truck and 50' away...that stays on until the rails are fully back down...its annoying as hell, but I'll admit you would be a special kind of driver to move with the rails up with that set up..

You know that sense, or "feeling," you get when someone is right behind you?
Close, and you can't see 'em, but you feel they are there? Isn't this the same?
No center rear view mirror? U can't see that BIG SHADOW over the cab?
Just casually looking out the drivers side window, you'd see it in the mirror, no?
I keep trying to make excuses, but none of them fit. No head on a swivel?

Is this stupidity, laziness, lack of proper training or staged for the photo op? Even if it weren’t tall wouldn’t you still want to tuck the bucket in? IMG_6960.jpeg

Its definatly tall too. Look at how high it is next to that dry van . Those are the guys that take down bridges and then wonder what happened

It looked tall to me compared to the trailer next to it, but sometimes the parking lot slope makes the picture deceiving. I haven’t hauled one of those and I didn’t want to assume. I have hauled my share of tall loads but my eyes do occasionally make mistakes, the main reason I carried and used a height stick.

One would think, after the first contact,
you would assume "some ting Wong?"

(And.....where's the damage on the excavator?)

How about the operator, loading the machine,
could have curled the bucket more,
to lower the boom as low as possible.

    Always blame the Driver/truckers?
