That is my only peeve with HP men. They can't just stop you, walk up and write the ticket, offer a "nice day ', welcome to BFE...
No, got to go into the $2.00 lecture of how you could have avoided the whole thing.
Why could not he give the lecture, you thank him and show respect by avoiding that satiation for a while?

Run like hell, wear yourself out and the equipment, to no end a year from now, having to shut and sell...
Shut and sell soon as you can even up a little and get out from under..
Or, take only a reasonable and profitable load to keep a cash dribble.
None are a solution, but each of you will wind up at one of them...

Figure by then the powers that be will find divine inspiration and adjust spot market to cover fuel costs. My experience is it takes 2 to 3 weeks for the office drones to figure out something needs fixing because of national/world events, even when said events are the major headlines for a couple of weeks.

I think they know precisely what they're doing. It's why they welcome folks that are a financial catastrophe waiting to happen.

It's not going to take long however.

A bunch of people will go under quickly.

If somebody wants to drive around for less than a company driver makes....... that's their right as an American.

It will turn into a compound fracture however, these are the collateral damages they don't see, cause as folks get stressed, push, they'll start making mistakes.

Maybe somebody makes the gynormous one. Certainly there will be lots moar violations.

That's why I want to see how the experts deal with this.

I'll say one thing. Every encounter I had with DPS they were the epitome of professional. Especially the time me and a friend got stopped coming back from Big D in 1987. He driving. We both drunk as skunks lol. He let us go with a defective equipment warning. Have a nice day indeed !

I worked most of last winter, took off that week for ice, snow don’t bother me, but solid ice I’ll drive my pickup, but trucks parked.

but, anyway, it goes back to what dad used to ask when things got slow, which used to be winter, “Well, son, where’s you summers wages?”
