Any of you wanting to make as much as a penny on a load, should be thoroughly ashamed of yourselves.

Cause someone is just going to ask you to donate that penny anyways. So why not donate to the agents?

Is that the display at MATS? I haven't been there in 20 years. I guess I'll make an effort to take the wife next year God willing.

But there is a M & a E in team. With Landstar always backing the agent by default, why would I donate to the agents. Landstar needs to lower their percentage to be part of the team so it benefits the ME part of team.

I wouldn't necessarily say that Landstar always backs the agent. The two times agents called operations on me the ops person basically told them tough ####.

I just has a issue with a customer... trailers not being unloaded in a timely manner. What shoukd have been a 1hr d&h was 24+ hr wait for the return load.. not the agent fault... found out that the same thing happened 4 other times in the last 6 week..
Landstar corporate (not the agent) canceled ALL loads on that run until FORD (Kansas City) get their act together..

Glad that you at least had some success with ops. However, in my case, in many cases, I've got nowhere with Ops backing me up. Many times, I would get a fb from a foreign agent and agent says they will add the extra after we had discussed it on the phone and after I received the initial fb. When I didn't get the extra after the load was done, I contacted ops and they said that's not what the agent said. I even provided them with email and text exchanges with myself and the agent but ops said it's not on the FB so I don't get paid the extra. Also, No detention pay when I was supposed to receive it since agent didn't put it in. No TONU pay while load was cancelled enroute. Thank goodness, I don't deal with the foreign agents anymore but ops are worthless. They are there just to collect from both the agents and drivers and not resolving any issues by saying it's between you, driver, and the agent.
