Thank you very much! I have one, a little bit different than that. But it’s always good to compare several in order to make a sound decision. IMG_3651.jpeg

State DOT websites for road conditions/web cams/chains in effect & closures are your friend & indispensable where you are heading.

DOT also has pretty good active signage along the way.

Sure you already monitor weather apps of some sort.

Beautiful country out that way & you both will love it.

Keep it safe & sane. ;)

I Always take sound advice and put it into practice. We cruised today instead of flying like the crazy furners do. Got passed today by one doing at least 80. Nope, not me! Keeping it 63-68 and no faster. We made it to TA in Rawlins, WY. Still have 1086 miles to go and have to be at receiver sometime between 00:01 and 23:59 on the 6th. So far we’ve seen a lot of pronghorn, corn, corn, corn and more corn stalks. Nebraska is flat, boring and corn… Did I mention, Corn? LOL-
I’ve always loved mountains, lakes and streams off of mountains. It’s just my thing. Ms Cherokee loves it too. We both love eastern Tennessee. No matter though, Mississippi will always be home for us both.
