Do you need to report a minor accident to your personal insurance?

    Absolutely!!
    Anything & everything MUST be reported to insurance in the immediate time frame it occurs. Maybe even call the safety man too.!
    I couldn't even begin to imagine the type of individual that might even think about not reporting such an egregious incident.

    Hell I kicked over a piss bottle in the truck the other night & filed a claim. Can't be too careful nowadays..

    You can if you want to, but you'd be foolish to do so if the police weren't called. Hell if you called the police on yourself after that mistake, then that was a foolish move. If none of that occurred, keep trucking. If nobody saw it, it didn't happen.
