    Yep you did exactly what you’re supposed to do to go down that hill and with the people flying around you like that yeah I have them do that with myself as well….glad you both got to experience that region while the weather was great…you both really did get some great pics.. stay safe.

    That's the way to do it Cherokee. Your way and the way that you are comfortable with. Like they say, "You are the captain of your ship". Don't be intimidated to do what you are not comfortable with. Glad that you and Mrs. Cherokee are enjoying your journey. Keep up the good work.

    The mountains of the East have Nothing on the mountains of the West! All mountains are to be respected, but the mountains of the West are the most dangerous but the most beautiful. 7 miles down a 6% can be intimidating, especially when you don’t have the experience. Slow and easy is best. I’m loaded with paper rolls standing up. Next time I’ll be using my load bars for sure. I don’t think anything has moved, I sure hope not! I’ve hauled them before but never in mountains like these.

    Exactly! That’s my philosophy too. I’ve seen smoking brakes all day today and I’ll give you one guess who it was! Hope they find their boat or plane back with a one way ticket!
