How did the author of this piece come to the conclusion there was a CRASH? No vehicle or property damage, just a stupid homeless man.
-
driver didn't check his trailer before moving it.

I was thinking the same thing. How can you not see somebody under your trailer unless you are doing your pre-trip with your eyes closed.Numb Thanks this. -
Driver backed into a dock, loaded/unloaded, pulled out of the dock. Are you saying that you pre-trip every time you bump a dock?
-
Well he won’t do that again

I would think that you would at least have to kick a chock out from under the wheel. Hard to not notice something unusual under the trailer, not so much a pre-trip I guess, just maybe paying attention to your surroundings.Numb Thanks this. -
Sit at a dock for 6-10 hours. Go lie down. They beat on door. “Here’s your paperwork get out we got trucks to unload!!”
never been those places hmm?
Was a homeless woman hit here in my hometown by a drunk driver who id son of big plumber in town. He ran over her. Drive off went home. Later turned himself in. After sleeping off the drink. Nothing ever happened to him. Seen him the other day driving a plumbing van
Only this reason made news. Truck involved
besides its suicide by truck.
from the story:
“Police said a man had crawled under a trailer that was parked in a loading bay on the west side of a business. Police said the driver of the semi exited the tractor and prepared the trailer to move.
Police said the driver reentered the tractor and drove forward. The tires rolled over the pedestrian.“
so dead guy got in position after he did a walk around -
Time of incident was 2 PM. It's not like the hobo looking for a place to sleep for the nite.
-
Would be hard to see if the trailer had skirts, doubt anyone looks more than a glance.
