Plan and save and Do It! You only get 1 life to do the things you want to do. I’ve done a lot in my life and being a truck driver was on my list. A professional truck driver to be exact. I’ve done everything from welding, farming, HVAC installation, electrical, plumbing, maintenance man, land development, excavator operator, dozer, both big and small, bocat operator and finish carpenter work. I like to have a lot of variety and God has given me a lot of skills.

My plans were scraped several years ago due to some bad decisions i made. Been trying to start over since then. Nobody cares about experience anymore. Its all about a degree. To far over the hill for that.

No such thing as too far over the hill... unless you're under it.

It looks like you are turning it around to me. I just lost all my retirement I was expecting to have and now Im to old to really do much about it. I do try but cant make much headway. So I just go one day to next and enjoy whats left.

No, I meant me… I’m 60, lost all my retirement too. I’m not going to have much in SS either due to low paying jobs all my life. To top it all off, my wife and I had to sell our home last year and now we’re homeless in the company truck. If and when I ever get to retire…. It’s not looking good and I’ll probably have to work until they pack dirt in my face.

Nice pictures out there on 84 ! Did you stop at the Baker Truck Corrall in Baker City ? I developed a soft spot for that place. Great food at the restaurant.
