I would respond the same way, but add that it'll give me time to research which company I will apply to next since they obviously don't need me and my years of safe, on time service. That way they can hire a 300 mile a day truck babysitting seat warmer.

That's the way it should be. No forced dispatch no matter what. If you accept it that's one thing. They should hire more drivers specifically for Walmart Dedicated. Good for you.

Aschoff has made it clear numerous Times that is not forced..folks just keep spreading innuendo that it is…OPs will try to force it but drivers just have to stand firm..

I have an odd question to my fellow experienced drivers. When you are leaving your shower room, do you ever just stop at the door and think about which way is the exit, especially at the larger T/A, Petro and older Flying J locations that have hallways that branch off? After visiting so many different truck stops over the years, I find myself doing that more often, or maybe it's just me and my aging brain.

I am the absolute most directionally challenged person I know. Aging hasn’t helped. I’m lucky I don’t get lost at home!

Got my next preplan. Pick up in Jenks tomorrow going to Janesville WI for anytime Monday. Not the most productive load, but I will have 5 full days to make up for it.

There are times when I don’t know where I am while driving. I have to think of where I picked up and where I’m going, then figure I’m somewhere in between .
    A scary feeling.

In my youth, when I would run hard enough to need multiple log books, I swore I was gonna put a dry erase board in the sleeper to remind me where I stopped for the night and what time I was supposed to leave. There were days I would wake up, look out the curtain and wonder where the heck I was. Sometimes I would be walking towards the building with my coffee cup before I would remember.
