With the abundance of 350 mile/day drivers this company has, I doubt most would attempt to run it like I did. But ya never knowLast edited: Apr 20, 2026

Got 2 preplans this morning. A shorty off the SLC yard going to Costco in SLC, then a load a few blocks away going to east central IA for Thursday. Will put me mid-3000's.
The Wally World in Grantsville had probably 15-20 of our dry vans, every one of them loaded, several with Flammable placards. There were 4 at doors, 3 had green lights, but receiving said they were waiting to be unloaded. So dispatch said bobtail to the yard for my load. If it were Shaffer, I would probably still be sitting there waiting for a decision, but Crete took all of 2 minutes to make the call.Friend, 48Packard, FullMetalJacket and 9 others Thank this. -
I thought they said they bought some property next to the SLC yard. But the only vacant land next to the terminal has newer looking signs saying "will build to suit" as if it back on the market. So, unless they bought the trucking company property next door, or the construction company behind them...there isn't any other property near the terminal.

Crete now looking for drivers ....on Facebook Marketplace..

I hope they don't issue new drivers those pre 2020 Freightliners they have pictured.

Those are all gone except one I see once in awhile.....it's a 42 number I think

Costco was their regular self. Handed me my pager and put me right into a door. 45 min after my appointment I was pulling out the gate empty. My pickup customer was 5.5 miles away. The load info for the load said live load, got there right when they opened for the day and...my load was already loaded and ready to go. You can't ask for things to go any better than that...and it's only a 30k lb load.(So with that light of a load, I guess it's gonna be windy going across WY, or at least that's how Karma usually does things)
hotrod1653, 48Packard, Rugerfan and 12 others Thank this.
