Hay cuttin’s right at about 2 months away for me !! lol.

 

Youi know the big rubber o-ring on a Vortex air filter can that seals the can to the top? I had to order some today from the Pete house. I am amazed that they don't stock those.

 

shucks, I just threw a couple away! I’d have been happy to give them to you! They came with the filters when I replaced them

 

Order me a set, and a set for @Sons Hero , except when you give him his set, wrap one around his neck and twist it real tight and whisper in his ear . . .

"You . . . .NEVER . . . throw . . . any . . . . parts . . . .away".

Just before he passes out, smile broadly and hand him the o-rings.

 

in my defense, I threw the old ones away, not the new ones. The old ones were nowhere near junk in my opinion, but since I had new ones, I put them in because I had it apart.

 

I'm guilty of keeping stuff I really should throw away. Ask my wife.

 

You look at it and think "I might need that someday"
If you throw it away within a week you will need it.

 

Keeping it is an insurance policy.

 

Closest corporate job I’ve had was working the desk 2 nights a week at a gym. I worked from 10pm-6am. The first shift kids were ALWAYS late. For some reason, the manager would call me pissed off because I would leave at 6.

“Six, you can’t leave the front desk unattended!”
Did you call the people who were late?
“No, not yet..”
Why are you calling me?
“Because you left the front desk unattended!
My shift ended at 6.
“But you can’t leave the desk unattended!”

This was the conversation every day I worked.

 

Just incase anyone couldn't tell,,
My experience in the corporate world is precisely zero..

I wouldn't make it a day..
