Exactly lol. It’s junk far as I’m concerned!! Think it’s called a cascadia, power windows don’t work, Jake’s don’t work, suspension dump doesn’t work, radio cranks and pops, has a power switch on the back of the cab and if you leave it on over night it won’t have enough power to start the next morning.

    But…. it’s got a hell of a cold a/c.

I was nursing a sore shoulder last night and this morning, buddy called about 2:00 PM to see if I pull a couple loads out of the plant for him so that is why I was in turd….

Nice evening on 34 here just north of the KS/OK border. Headed for Hays to unload, then loading for Gunnison.

Hahahahaha. Close, but I can't grow a beard like that dam't.

Yeah, I gotta stay away from over there.

I admit I roll too faat usually. I crossed the border here and headed down the hill, paying attention to the sunset more than the fuzz hidin ahead. Runnin a little hot with my inattention and a 48k# push.

Luckily he was being gracious tonight. I finally looked at the speedo when he flashed me. 81....

I tipped my hat as I rolled by at 65

Chicken fried steak , sausage gravy, eggs over easy with hash browns or potatoes with toast, has been nominated over 65 times, and has won 43 times - for the American Health Institutes premier award of "Most likely to kill you sooner than you were expecting" meal.

$25 excluding tip at this particular location, nestled in the hills of PA on Route 22. 20 years ago the same plate could be had for $6.95.

Interesting side note - $25 was what we had in 8 meals of smoked/grilled leg quarters, sausages and green beans with bacon, 4 of which I took away with me on the road.

However, at this point in time, after 9 days on the road - some unruly sustenance was required. And it served me well, and I totally decimated the entire plate.

I very rarely eat out on the road. So I performed the classic "Here's the Menu" - "Here's the Plate" set of photos somewhat sarcastically - but I can honestly say the food was hot, fast, and pretty decent - if not overpriced in my opinion.

PA and OH about wrecked me with a baby oversized today - I'm glad I stopped for the meal.

I just don't understand the seatbelt ticket. Then again I used to not wear one teaming with my bride - but I drove nightshift.
I'd always wear it in the personal vehicle though. Then one day I just wore it all the time.

It's the easiest ticket to avoid. It's also the easiest reason to pull you over and then they find something else to pick on.

Yeah, one of my first inspections was in Shakopee because of not wearing a seat belt. City cop got me, then called DOT.

I honestly hate wearing it. Always figured if I was in an accident, it was just me.

IIRC, It was @Long FLD who mentioned that maybe something happens, and you're not in the drivers seat anymore because you weren't wearing a seatbelt, and then have no control of the truck.

Then I am putting others in danger.

I had never thought of it like that.
