Dave still has the C13 with platinum for $15k.

 

That's really probably a bargain just for the engine, if a guy needs one. I have a C13 in our 345 and 730 haul truck. They both run well but you never know.

 

Dave was with LS, he was pulling van for a little bit, then the crank broke. I gave him my 53' flat to use, and he got back profitable pretty quick. The platinum was $40K plus, at a CAT house, has paperwork. He kept everything fixed on it, and finally listened to his accountant who had told him for a while he was more than safe enough to retire.

As soon as you say 'C13' to some people , they get all huffy and swear it needs a jet engine in it instead. But he pulled mainly oversize all over the 48 and he never complained that it didn't get the job done.

If mine were to burn to the ground I'd grab it and go.

 

Did he get the trailer sold?

Like @FLHT says, this one is made just for this kind of job. Cheap, effective and easy to setup. I got 3 of them to use for different fluids.

 

I got a ole fuel pump out of my 95gmc that still works. Maybe it might be worth a shot?

 

I got a 6V92T @ 335 hp…..

 

Finding a good one would be a chore, many have no clue what it even is….
