lmao just read all the new posts to this thread i made haha.
about the walmart thing i was planning on staying with Barr Nunn until i have the three years experiemce + hazmat that is required for that 5 days on, 2 days off job that is six figures a year.
(got 1yr and 5 months experience counting this month right now)
but Crete offers me an opportunity for a position in theor 21 day dry van fleet where from what ive been learning can be 90-101k/year while waiting to qualify for walmart.
...plus i dont have to take everything out of my truck every 5 days and then purchase a pickup truck with a camper in the truck bed and hang out at the nearest truck stop for a couple days due to mandatory home time, only to put my stuff back in the truck for 5 days, so i might end up staying with Crete if it proves to be as stable and consistant as other Crete drivers have been telling me.
Any solo company OTR drivers for Crete Carrier? Considering making the move to them.

update: Couple days ago i was told all my employment history and background check is complete! put in my 2 week notice friday last week.
monday ill find out when my last day at Barr Nunn is because i have to workout 14 full days to leave without burning bridges. got home time on the 15th for a doctor's appointment so that complicates when i can leave.bryan21384, Albertaflatbed and Lonesome Thank this. -
also due to a not at fault accodent i had last year they are putting an inward facing camera in my truck for a couple months before giving me the "only faces outward camera".
im willing to put up with that if my paychecks will ultimately be as big as people claim hahabryan21384, Albertaflatbed and Lonesome Thank this. -

It ain't like that driver. A lot of you think it is but that ain't the case. I'm not gonna say there might not be some arrogance like that here but not me personally. I'll help out any one of you in a bind if I can, it ain't beneath me to do that. Im not the driver that will laugh at you or post a video of your F up. I helped a driver out the other night ago was about to turn into the employee parking area and get himself into a big bind. I laid into my air horn, he stopped and I helped guide while he backed himself out of the situation. He was about to curl his sleeper fairing around behind the back of the cab if I had done nothing. But I helped the guy out and he didn't speak a lick of english either or not very well anyways.Last edited: May 10, 2026

You can tell by how quick his tone changed, he is one of those that IS like that. He went from o.k. to sarcastic to insulting in 3 posts.
