I bit the bullet and did the adult thing and talked to the assistant manager. She explained that they have instructed their people to check on drivers who go over on breaks if they haven't communicated that in advance because they've had some late loads where the driver didn't communicate. She told me they obviously don't want me to drive fatigued and that I just need to communicate in advance if I'm stopping.

I hate being an adult sometimes. It's a lot more fun to just be pissed instead of acknowledging that I had a part in the situation.

Not in that fleet, but I've never heard of any of the trucks coming with a microwave installed. They equip all the trucks the same since they could end up in any fleet. I have a small 700 watt one that the inverter handles with ease.

They do come with a fridge though and they work ok. You might have to tweak the temperature setting for a few days to see where it lands. I would buy a small fridge thermometer, comes in handy.

lol well since ive given my two week notice barr nunn has been giving me the most difficult loads to do in new jersey. specifically going to the home depot DC in perth amboy. ive only ever made it all the way to that DC once, which is last week because there is only one way to that DC and sometimes that one road is closed lol. and they made that load the last one before i start home time. gonna be an interesting two weeks.

good news is that im suddenly getting a $#ITload of miles since they know im leaving to get more miles at crete so im gonna have a nice "two last paychecks" lol
