I misread your reply, my appoligies. I thought you were saying it was ok to be 4 minutes over drive time, which we all know is not the case.

This is starting to get old. Pre-planned on a load from Hot Springs to SoCal that has an 11 am live load appointment. Get to the Lowe's DC and they won't have any empties until this afternoon. In order to make my delivery then deadhead 3 hours for my appointment to live load, I left W. Memphis a little after 1 am, so this afternoon will be at/past my 14, but either way I won't have the time to hunt an empty and make my pick up on time, so, because of a lack of equipment I am gonna lose an 1800+ mile run.

Any chance they'll have three 600 mile average loads that'll keep you moving?

Gotta love those old "too good to be true" loads.

They offered me a load that picked up 2 hours AFTER my 14. Then they offered me a load that picked up at a beverage plant an hour before my 14 in the DFW area. Told them I would just wait until morning and get an empty from the Lowe's DC I just left. So they offer me a load out of the Wilmer yard going to OKC, then another from Edmonton to Davenport. I get to Wilmer and on the fuel island inspection, they find a shock leaking on my front drive axle, and I just got out of the W. Memphis shop...so now I am going in the Wilmer shop for a pair of shocks because the tech says the other one is starting to weep (I think it's overflow grease from where I put excessive grease on the 5th wheel - compared to what most of the shop do).

In and out of Wilmer in just over an hour...next stop, the lottery kiosk to buy the only winning ticket.
