That's good to hear! Yes, I go in twice a year to get checked. I had a touch of the kind that they don't worry about too much removed - Basal I think. I froze my ears almost solid when I was in my twenties and the layers of skin that I have gone through and continue to go through is probably at risk, but so far no cancer issues there. I 'm sure my time is coming though.

I have a 3X3 diamond shaped skin graft scar on my left shoulder and a 4X6 harvest site on my left thigh from a malignant melanoma that was removed in 1994. Full recovery!!

 

I remember hearing that on the Dr Demento show.

 

I am also missing about 20% of my left ear to 2 attempts to remove a basel cell carcinoma.
the second was successful in about 2010.
I believe that driving non a/c trucks from the 70's to the late 80's with the arm out an open window was a contributing factor and my doctors concure.

 

Can anybody give me an explanation of what these markings mean, and are for? I understand the 'N' for North, and assume the corner marks the corner of a square/rectangle or parts thereof - what does the 'T-5' "T-6" designate, and the color?

 

Surveyor's reference points. I think for use in aerial photos. Construction starting soon there?
