Yep. I've read so many books about em.
There were two that gave me serious creeps.
The Zodiac killer by Robert Graysmith
    and
The Night Stalker by Phillip Decarlo

Just bought some oil for the Mighty Kawasaki. Same price as one (1) year ago. I saw em talking about that on Garage Journal. One (1) dude had about fifty (50) five (5) qt. Jugs hoarded up.

Neighbor dude even tried with Costco, the sale stuff all gone, no rain checks. They had castrol, but at a higher price. He was able to get some cyclon from his normal guy. Not at the price he wanted, nor the amount that he wanted. The guy had even told him to get it when he sees it, might be troublesome to acquire for a little bit. He does a bunch of oil changes when doing tire swaps from winter to summer.
Hopefully it is sounding worse than it will be. Good to hear you were able to acquire what you needed. My truck oil is Fords problem, prepaid all the scheduled maintenance at a reduced rate at purchase for five years. Added plus is it goes on the purchase price, raises the depreciating value on a fixed operating cost

That’s pretty similar to what I have been reading. Some private credit lenders have 40% of their money out in software development companies, if a.i. does what people say it might to the subscription based software companies, could make for a very bumpy ride. What do I know though, I just make sawdust!;)
Forgot to put replying to @Bud A.
