They mentioned that they were going to it, but that's the last I heard until the other day. It's like finding out you're gonna win the lottery, but you don't know when. And I never thought coloring in a few dots with a sharpie was all that time consuming. What happens when the tablet takes a crap, how do we get paid then? A piece of paper never had software issues, but it goes along with the way things are done at an Acklie company, if it ain't broke, f'it up so you have to fix it. Just like at Shaffer when they started sending reefer fuel solutions that were supposedly tested and we were told that it works, but us guinea pigs found out right away, that it wasn't as tested and flawless as they claimed.

The dots were for the fax to read.
Friend, Lonesome and Trucker61016 Thank this. -
No I understand what you're saying I'm just explaining what I've found after being an early user...it's lessened my paperwork and no need to get trip sheets one less thing to clutter...

Managed to actually drop and hook at the Fairburn Purina this morning (as opposed to drop and hunt an empty). Got down to my shipper in LaGrange a couple hours before my scheduled pu time. I was the 1st truck to the dock and out of there well before my appointment time. But Atlanta was an above average cluster -bleep-. I managed to get to the Pilot just before the GA scales before you get to SC on 85. Now I am sitting here listening to a killer rain storm pounding on my roof. Didn't get a preplan before my regular AM went home, hopefully there is something to move when I get empty, that customer is out past BFE.
navypoppop, Friend, xlsdraw and 1 other person Thank this. -
I find if I tcall or swap lds with another driver, my trip always shows "pending" even though I get the email it was submitted. Never shows "paid" on the tablet even though I actually do get paid on the next payroll. I think it has something to do with not submitting any BOL images. Not sure if submitting any other receipts like truck supplies or cash washout fixes that though
System still has a few bugs but it's not bad. Just keep an eye on your payroll when tcalling or swapping.
I know we don't have to use the bubble sheets but do we still hv to use the unloading forms to get reimbursed for lumping fees?
I had just restocked on the bubble sheets before they switched me over...now i have ALL kinds of scratch paper...lolFriend Thanks this. -
No with the unloading forms…just scan in the lumper receipt with your billsTrucker61016 Thanks this.
-
Well yes of course.....with t-call I just put no paperwork to scan since I'm not the delivering driver ......Friend Thanks this.

I guess I am an old stick in the mud. I hate change, and the uncertainty of if it's gonna screw up. I have seen too many times over the years with this company where the next "good thing" ends up being a total disaster. I simply don't trust the ability of the people doing the coding to get it right without multiple reworks (that are the result of a problem where someone got their paycheck screwed up). The bubble sheets have worked for decades, why risk the uncertainty of a change that didn't need to be done. At least give us the choice, those that want to use the digital option can use that, those that don't can do the old fashioned way.
navypoppop and Gearjammin' Penguin Thank this. -
System is probably waiting on the delivering driver. I remember being told multiple times at Barr-Nunn. If your the B or C driver on a load. Aka you grabbed a load from a driver to deliver. To make sure you send it in. So you both get paid.

I remember someone complaining about the new gate cards.
