    I have the same inverter and have had it for 6 years. I have zero complaints except maybe for the size.

    Um... 50 amp fuse? For a 3000 watt inverter? That would max you out at 1100 watts assuming 12 volts. And the power it draws is not the power it puts out. They are usually only about 80% efficient if you've lucky.

    For the full 3000 watt output you would need to be able to pull about 3750 watts from the battery. At 14 volts (with the engine running) that would be 267 amps. I use a 200 amp fuse.

    I'm behind the times I guess. Never found the need for an inverter in the truck.
