I have for 47 wonderful years. I agree with you that a lot of marriages never go very long anymore.

Dropped off a load last night in Beaver Dam, WI. Then picked up a load in Oshkosh to run down to Tulsa. On the 18th delivering that and picking up a load at the same place to take to Romeo, IL. Keeping us hopping, which we like!

Oh, forgot to mention the smoke in WI from the wildfires in northern WI. It was pretty hazy and in a few places it blocked out a lot of the sunlight. Made it hard for me to breathe and had to use my inhaler, but MsCherokee wasn’t affected much by it.

That smoke was serious wasnt it? I got to Minnesota Wednesday night, and it was so hazy in the Minneapolis area that it burned my eyes some......I ended up in Wadena. These particular wildfires are putting out smoke that smells like burning plastic or something. I'm glad you made it out ok.

Same here in Chicago metro area, a "fumey" smell. Didn't smell at all like natural stuff burning. I asked the Google oracle, and it replied: Wildfire smoke smells like chemicals or burnt plastic because of chemical reactions catalyzed by sunlight. As smoke travels long distances, ultraviolet (UV) radiation breaks down its organic compounds, leaving behind lingering industrial-smelling chemicals like benzene, formaldehyde, and acrolein.

We sure did! I had to use my inhaler several times to be able to open up my lungs. We’re now doing a 34 reset at the Love’s in Ellsworth, Iowa. I just had a live unload at Boone, Iowa from up near Chicago where the smoke was pretty bad as well. Here in Ellsworth it’s just cloudy and fairly warm. High temp here tomorrow is 76° and I’m going to get out the grill tomorrow and our camp chairs. Found a nice shaded spot on the north end of the parking lot. Looks like the Loves sign is throwing a lot of shade we're going to use! Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

That’s crazy! But, I can see how that could happen.

Have an awesome view of Ellsworth grain elevator, parking lot and CORN. Here in Iowa, no matter where you go, you’ve always got a front row seat to a field of corn… or beans… or cattle. IMG_3844.jpeg
