Looks like cheap loads are back, what are you seeing?

says who? Hopper freight got cheaper 3 months ago.

 

Dry van went to the moon for a few months and now it’s in the toilet. Loads I have saved and watching have plummeted the last couple days..today especially..
Have taken 5 weeks off starting with the last week of June. Just go out now for a couple weeks at a time to cover bills.

When I am out I have been running I-10 Florida to El Paso and back. Got to run where I can get the cheapest fuel. I hate this lane but I got no choice.

Looks like another week or two off starting Saturday unless something changes.

 

Flat freight went to hell over a month ago. Not sure who's hauling 3$ freight with +5$ fuel, but it's moving.

I'm just hanging back and waiting.

 

I can still make money on $3 freight with $5 fuel but I haven't had to in a long time. Making money is a relative term though, making some but not enough.

I agree, rates seem to have dropped a bit in the last couple weeks but not that awful in my world.

 

Thats why u guys continue to be successful , working ur ### off during the good times and hang out and relax when the money aint there. So many people do it the opposite way and wonder why they go broke

 

I took a couple weeks off while it was ####. Ended up going out Saturday and will be back home tomorrow with a 9300 week on 3500 miles with about 300 miles dead head. Not the best but not too bad for that much dead head. That includes just driving home tomorrow empty, Might end up getting another 1k if I can find something going back home in the morning.

Should start seeing a pick up again as loads are getting posted with some decent volumes. Had a couple weeks of #### near nothing and #### appointments so I just took some time off with it being to much of a pain to try and get decent money. Also I think brake week is coming up and will put those cheap carriers out for the week.

 

Brake week starts Sunday? But let’s call it what it really is and that’s Level One week.

Taking the week off I see nothing but crap loads right now. A ton of small crappy loads and $5.50 fuel..

Delivering tonight at midnight in Orlando and should be home by 3am

Lol, if fuel was free I still wouldn’t touch them.

1,200+ available loads within 300 miles of Savanna on Uber and it’s all crap. That’s about 800 plus loads over what it has been the last few years.

Crap rates, $5.50 fuel in the South East and brake check week.

I’m home and staying put. Spent 8 days driving 65 mph to conserve fuel so I’m mentally exhausted.

 

I can only imagine the west coast rates going back out are even worse
