got my possible company prospects narrowed down to 3 outfits. System Transportation, Melton Truck Lines, and Central Oregon Trucking Company.
Would like to hear from folks who work or have worked for these outfits. Tell me about the good, the bad, and the ugly.
I have talked to a System Recruiter, but as folks know, recruiters only tell you the good stuff. I will be calling the others next week
need some input on 3 outfits.

Central Oregon hands down. Way more money than the other 2 to be made. Will stay married to a trailer for the most part.
firemedic2816, D.Tibbitt, Stay Puft and 2 others Thank this. -
Tollbooth Jimmy on YouTube works for Central Oregon. He seems to be happy, made 6 figures last year.

I've never heard any complaints about COTC (cot-see) except they don't have fast trucks. I never worked for them, but I did work out West and everything I saw and heard about them seemed first-class.

The only downsides about COTC is they have (or had) driver facing cameras and are owned by TFI (the Canadian company that owns UPS/T-Force). I was working for their sister company, SPD, when they bought our parent Daseke. I wasn't impressed with what TFI changed (and this was before most of SPD was merged into E.W. Wylie)

I echo what others have said.
Do your research on TFI, and try as best as you can to see what impact/influence they've had on COTC's operations and driver experience. (I have no idea what the influence is; I just know holding companies snap up independent outfits all the time in business.)
Anyway, order of precedence of the three listed:
1.) COTC
2.) System
3.) Melton
@jrenner235 Where do you live and what are your desires for hometime? -
Ask the recruiter for 10 phone numbers of drivers you can talk to. If they balk at this….you have ur answer.
