One of the recent trips in there I got a msg saying my trl was ready with trl number and then when I showed up Tyson claimed it wasn’t ready and I stated we received an email from Tyson stating loaf was ready and their answer to it..”sorry but you and your company are liars”…i essentially walked out told them where to put it..it reached Lincoln and the ops mgr called me and asked what was going on and I explained it to him and was told they would take that up with Tyson corporate with that attitude..cdavis188, Bud A., hotrod1653 and 3 others Thank this.

It's a shame they didn't close down Holcomb and keep Lexington, NE. I rarely had any issues at Lexington, pretty much anybody you talk to has had problems at Holcomb.Bud A., trucker-chase, hotrod1653 and 2 others Thank this.

It came from the Tyson personnel, but the lady that I spoke to on the phone in the guard shack there at the plant after I informed her that we got an email from you all stating the trailer was ready with the trailer number. The lady’s response was “I don’t care what you got”… Their attitude at that specific location needs to change drasticallyBud A., hotrod1653, hope not dumb twucker and 1 other person Thank this.

I drove for Tyson few years ago and thought the same thing. Lexington was one of the good ones. Holcomb couldn’t find its left foot if they had a truck parked on it. They were as bad as the chicken plants.Last edited: Sep 26, 2026

Had a real good quarter for my bonus. I think it'll be around 30k miles...although my last trip may not be counted due to the messed up e-trips issue.
I sent last trip in on 10/1, while the system was still having issues... I got the email with the confirmation but then I got the message yesterday morning that issues had been resolved, so I dont know if it actually has been processed. Im home away from the truck so no way to check on it.
Other than that, had a real good quarter. Had a whopping 12,176 miles in July! August was only 8,160 (took 10 days vacation plus 4 days earned time off) and as of September 25, I had 8,652. By 9/25 that puts me at 28988. I got another 2200 dispatched after 9/25 so that puts me at around 30k.
In 25 years of working here, this is the first time I've made bonus in all 4 quarters.
Even if those last trips aren't paid out in this week's payroll, they should still count toward the bonus, but even if it doesnt, I still had 28988 by 9/25 so it's all good...lolBud A., Vic Firth, navypoppop and 2 others Thank this.
