We see them perhaps more than anybody else.
Constantly I'm bombarded by the attempts of half informed adults to get my attention and open my wallet. Today it just happened to be in a Flying J.

    "Everyday low value!"

At first glance, nothing seems amiss with the statement. It's the usual "value" and "low, low, low" shtick that's been plastered on products since the beginning of time. But a second look (and a little grammatical breakdown) reveals the unintended message.

    Everyday- each day, all day
Low- not high, near the bottom
Value- worth, usefulness, and most typically, quality for price

Flying J has effectively advertised that their products are of low value all the time.

I had to shake my head at that one. I knew what their point was, but the words were plumbed all the wrong way around.

    So what's your most memorable :biggrin_2554: advert/billboard/sign?

I don't remember the name of the company, but it is in Texas.
They are involved in cattle production.

The ABS (artificial insemination services for cattle) headquarters near Windsor, WI is constantly changing their billboard near I-90/94 with puns involving cattle. I haven't been past there in quite awhile, and don't remember some of the ones that I have seen, but they come up with some pretty funny stuff.

I saw one outside of West Palm Beach Florida and it said....." send congress a message they cant ignore....VOTE THEM OUT" Nice thing was is that it was put up by the WPB Senior Citizens for fair government or some such nonsense like that.
