Do not work for knight transportation!!!

My friend you should consider yourself lucky! I slept 11 months servng time at the knight family prison camp, trust me when i say this you dodged a bullet!!!

 

I guess I should of known better, after all, I read all the posts on them right here but with no current exp. They were my only choice [ or so I thought ]. Anyway they are a joke. 2 of the guys in orientation had dishonoable discharges an didn't disclose that so it will be a matter of time before they get canned. What a dump of a company, stupid business practices, they waisted probably 600.00 to 700.00 on me and had the nerve to complain about 1 guy who left the 2 nd day saying how he waisted their time and money. I guess you are right and I did miss the bullet. Thanks and I repeat do not go to Knight.[moron central]

 

Another thing, they lie to and steal from you right out of the gate. For example they say orientation pay is $50.00[what a joke] when in the driver handbook it says in black and white that its $100.00. All the drivers who got ripped off for that $50.00 should do a class action against them. I know its not much but its the principle. Also the things people tell about the trailer shortage must be true because you will be terminated immediatly if you try to hide an empty by putting a seal or lock on one to save for yourself. The E-LOG system looks to be bad as well. Overall looks like knight sucks bigtime. I did miss the bullet. Think I will call Maverick refrigerated today.

 

There are companies that won't terminate you for doing that?

 

Maybe they wouldn't be such a "dump of a company" if they didn't have to dedicate resources trying to weeding out the social misfits showing up to orientation.

 

Sooooo what was wrong with your overall application?

 

"bad" and "good" are pretty subjective. What would make one system bad and another one good?

 

You obviously have no grasp of what is going on here. Read the simple questions I have presented to you and instead of coming back with simple little insults (that are funny BTW) you could answer the questions.

A real live owner operator that devotes his life to the supreme mega junk carrier for much less than he is worth, has all of the answers? Well were waiting on them...

 

As far as the system itself goes I haven't had too many problems with it as long as you make sure you're sending in the right macros and whatnot - otherwise it can get screwy. Of course I haven't had experience with any other implementation of an electronic HoS system but this one seems alright on the surface.
