Home, again. Did a trip to the KY capitol and loaded out around louisville back up. Turned out to be a good trip. Except for the 100*+ temps and the tornado thru cincinatti...![]()

I wish there was a thread about how you truckers deal with tornadoes.
-
You go like hell!
I didn't see the tornado just heard someone talking that one was reported. I know it was blowing, raining and hailing.
I must have a thing for tornados. Thats not the first one and I'm sure won't be the last. -
lol I read your post at a fast first glance....... I thought you told me where to go! lol
My question would be do you ever leave your truck and seek shelter? -
Hopefully one would be smart enough to stay in the truck, get near a solid structure for a wind break if you can, otherwise just keep rolling steady.
Please dont start a thread on this, there is already a steady roll of "fearing the future"/"what-if's" of things beyond our control.
If its your turn,its your turn . . . . . .
Les2 and outerspacehillbilly Thank this. -
I've never been in that position before. If I had to I would!
I've usually run into the storms that come with tornados. The worst is at night, you can't see anything. -
I saw one last night in north Texas....most of us generally try to avoid them..
