Appreciate the tips, Beast. I bought a GPS and the Atlas, and if I had internet, I would look at MapQuest, but never used any of the other programs you mentioned. I didn't face quite the same challenges you all do. I was only in a cargo van, so I could go pretty much any place a car could go.

I turned the van in two weeks ago. I was pretty much paying to work. I had to pay for my own gas, and the majority of my loads paid $250 at the most. By the time I paid for gas and the owner got his 40%, I wasn't making much of anything. Getting loads out of home were hard to come by, and the deadhead was killing me.

I'm starting back in an office next week.

I've been in offices for over 20 years, beast, and believe me, I'm not looking forward to going back. I really enjoyed the freedom I had in the van, but I had to face the reality that going into debt was getting close. One day, I'll be back out there.

Redd, I'm at home. When I was in the van, I usually didn't have internet unless I stopped at a Flying J.
