    Manning, SC

But it was an adventure getting here! Was on a run with 4 extra stops that ended in Flint, MI. "Beep" "after you get the two Louisville loads go meet xxxxx at Pendleton, KY. Swap loads, go back to two places I visited yesterday and end up at Charleston, SC.

But before I get there I get my first DOT 1 inspection. No ticket but I missed a light on the back of my tractor, had one axle nearly over the limit of stroke and had a trailer inspection that died in April. DOT Cop either did not notice trailer ins or since it passed all his tests he didn't mention it.

Was at Manning last night. Today had to run (with brakes still not right) to Columbus for the parts and run them back here so the T/A mech could put on the parts.

    Got the trailer DOT'd too.

Was 4:53PM CST and I typed "it would not hurt my feelings if the Qualcomm does not sound off before 0600". This driver manager COMMUNICATES! He says so you want your PTA in the AM and I say yes please. He finally says "anytime".

DOT cop was about as nice a guy as I could have gotten for my first.

My logbook barely got looked at it's so good!
