Still in Shepherd for two more days! Gonna be hittin' the sack here perty soon.

 

I've stopped at the Atchafalaya Basin rest area briefly...but not to stay the night. Too many mosquitos for me and I'd rather go the Frog City at the 87 and get some etouffe (I almost always spell that wrong, but however it's spelled, it's very yummy.)

Unfortunately, I will be missing it this trip. I'm picking up in Monroe and Rayne is way out of the way.

 

Rices palace in Crowley has the bestest crab cakes and corn nuggets. Wish I was there!!!


I'm back over in Omaha.

 

Broke down in Texarkana setting at the Volvo dealer with what I believe to be a bad EGR valve!

 

Could be somewhere a LOT worse than Texarkana......
