I'll be crossing I-44 to St Louis. I'm hoping that chicken place is open at the 179 in MO. Best chicken, spuds and gravy you'll get out here. Nothing is pre-made. Yum...

they're open till 3. try the hot roast beef for me! i haven't had a good one of those in years.

 

I have past that place probably 4 or 5 dozen times. Never thought of it being any good. Well now I know so I will have to try it.

I'm sitting at home in Raleigh NC waiting to get a load for tuesday morning and head out

 

Still here. Don't deliver until 0700 tomorrow. This Super 8 is nice, rated highest of the motels/hotels in Greenfield and the price/night ain't bad. I booked the room for 2 nights so I'll leave straight from here in the a.m. Receiver is only about 10 mins away. Getting a 34 in so after I deliver in the morning I'll be set to bustass for awhile.

Funny you should mention Mexican. I've been in a mood for some fair to middlin Mex cuisine for several days. It's gonna happen....and it's gonna happen ASAP!

 

I went out and got my fix last night, It was my Birthday and my friends and I all went to Texas Road house, I got a big ole 16oz prime rib. It was ###### outstanding!
