They shimmed a couple of joints in the drive line. Even bobtail, I can tell a world of difference. It took 90% of the pressure off the line. Then there was a three-axle realignmnet because the rears had to be taken loose to fix the drive line. They had the correct jump post in to complete that recall, so they took care of that and there's a recall on the air conditioning...something about a "thermister" that had to be done to keep the compressor from blowing again.

Now, I'm sitting at the Hooking Pilot at the 137 taking up a full spot so my guy will have a spot when he shows up.

Good they got it fixed before something went really wrong. But keep you feelers out for and vibrations or looseness in the driveline. Don't know how long you ran it like that, but there could be a problem already started and show its ugly head later in time.

I know I was busting on yah about that...:biggrin_25522:

Just got unloaded in St Jo - one of those really ugly reefer loads that pees a bucket of blood everywhere you stop. Yuck!

Picking up in Marshall MO... going to Ft. Worth for Friday evening.

I'm at a hook in Tulsa. My old truck stop book said exit 238. Was a might dissappointed it wasn't there! Newer book said 236 and here it was!

Delivery in the morning maybe 6 miles from right here.

Then with a little luck a homeward bound load next!

I'd kill to be as close to home as Katy GP.....
