I finally gave up on Flying J and Pilot altogether...I kind of hoped for an improvement in the customer service at the Flying J's after the takeover but it was not to be, If anything the customer service has gotten worse! (I didn't think it was possible)

I had a bad experience at the Flying J near Texarkana on I-40 that just finally pushed me away from them altogether.
There are enough other places to fuel that won't treat me like a leper when I'm spending my money there that I don't need to deal with the J's anymore.

I used to like stopping at flyin j's but since pilot took over the service has gotten worse and the fuel price at least in my neighborhood has sky rocketed

Boise! Traveled across US 20 in Oregon earlier. I only saw 3 other trucks travel through there. Isolated, but peaceful drive from US 97 to Idaho across the 20.

New Haven CT. Uptown at a little market waiting for these slackers to show up for the few remaining pallets on this load.

Umm... if this place had "live fire," I'd swear it was LA - and I don't mean the one with the swamps!
