Taking a break at T/A Aurora, OR...deliver in Woodburn in the morning...fun run in the white stuff over 84 today...and somebody left me a sample of their chain in my trailer tire...get that fixed tonight while I wait for the sun to come up!

Redding, CA on a 34. Picking up in Yerington, NV Wednesday morning.

Trying to decide if I want to run 299/89/44/395 into NV or take the long way and go over Donner into NV.?. Had a less than awesome experience running the former route last night. Got myself stuck in a full on white out from Susanville, CA all the way to Old Station, CA with no choice but to keep on keepin' on... There was nowhere to stop! Swore I'd never run that way again in the winter but I'm already feeling greedy and like the sounds of knocking ~100 miles off the route...

 

I'd let the weather forecast be your judge...time wise could be equal with playing in the storm....probably chains either way...Donner (the big road) with places to pull off...or the two lanes with no place to pull off!
