Hunts2much who do you drive for? How have the miles been for you?

 

Took POS trailer to Pittston PA terminal - got tired of rewiring it every 800 miles or so. Took care of deferred biz, got good lunch from terminal grill.

Different trailer, back to Waverly NY... getting loaded. Dang! Wish I was getting loaded!!!

Didn't have any trouble with the bobtail trying to fly yesterday. Just slippin' and slidin' a little. I just moseyed on down the road and let everyone pass me.

A guy was passing me and hailed me on the CB: hey, Driver, aren't you missing a trailer?
Me: Yep, a lot....especially right about now!

Almost went flying a couple of times today coming across 84 between the 86 split and Hazelton. Running light in a blizzard isn't my idea of fun. Holed up at that old abandoned Sinclair for a few hours and tried it again. Rolled 35mph most of the way on snow pack with a few ijits passing and throwing powder around from the left lane...when there was a line of about fifteen trucks to go around. And as soon as spots of pavement were visible, that snowpack we were doing 35 on is now safe to go 60 on in order to pass everyone on the pavement. NOT!!!

I said #%*& it and parked in the little truck stop at exit 157, I-84....Wendell, ID.
And then heard over the CB that someone just jack knifed ten miles ahead of me.

I wonder if it was that truck that passed everybody, going about 60, in the powder while we were on snowpack...and the guy in the lead truck said, "You got it, Dumb***." as his truck was cleared.
