The difference is dispatch & planning.

Because my relationship with my carrier changed, I can't really say - but I believe that U2_exit would say his miles increased under elogs.

In my case, I'd say there is certainly less waiting before something is assigned to me. Now that might be that the truck to load ratio is better than it was a couple of years ago, or an effect of better planning via the data that elogs serves up to the load planners.

Hey, I never said I was smart, besides money talks!:biggrin_25522:

    Had that monday too!

Lets see.... going across 64, dads stack comes loose. So I'm standing on top of his KW along the interstate putting it back on. Got lucky it just popped out of the muffler and the other clamp held it from falling.

Then he decided to explode a tire on the trailer which in turn rips the fender halfway off. I had to rip it the rest of the way off. So we limped it up the road to a tire shop. Got a pretty good deal on 2 tires.

While we was getting tires put on I had to fix my airride. My dump valve took a dump on me! <<<<<pun intended.

Then going up 79 after losing my signal while talking to Redd and Hillbilly, a deer decided to cross without looking! It was a moving full head a steam. Luckily the car beside me didn't hit it or I'd been in alot worse shape.

So when I whacked the deer I thought for sure I just lost my right side hood/fender. When pulling over I noticed I still had a headlight, so when I got out I was relieved to see it only got the bumper, which is plastic over steel and aluminum. So we spend an hour with ratchet binder and chain pulling it back out.

    Fun trip!

My miles have actually increased since I went e-logging.

I'm home, but headed to Charleston, SC with the wife to meet my dad and stepmother for T'giving. Not going back in the truck until the 2nd.

    Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Heh heh...we all have pipe dreams for sure!

    Just got a call from dispatch...(I knew I shouldn't answer the phone)...got an offer I couldn't refuse....

Take a power only (generator) from Sac yard to deliver in Seattle Friday 0500...so home today/tonight, leave out Thursday early morning for Seattle...mileage pay + holiday bonus (lucrative) + regular holiday pay = $$$

Actually, leftovers are always better!!! And I don't have to carve the bird!:biggrin_25514:
