Or I can do it like I've been doing.....

Sneak in & sneak out without!!!!

But chances are... I'll be staying east. Freight outlook for me doesn't look good over there in Washington.

Still sitting Cheyenne. They closed 80 while we were delivering this am. We're now at the Flying J instead of Pilot

I'm enjoying my vacation tour of Cheyenne truckstops! Will send pics and postcards!

I wondered if you made it out, Nana. Brick was just saying they closed 80. He posted a pic, and I couldn't see anything. You stay safe and warm. Glad to hear you have a vacation spot til this passes.

    Texas-Nana Thanks this.

Hi Teddy it's me Nana. Well we got all excited when they reopened I80! After freezing several parts of my body off during a pretrip I then thawed out and got us on the road. Not even 15 miles down the road we get turned back due to winds in excess of 45mph. We're dragging an empty over for a load in Boise. So now we're back at the Flying J. It's nice to work for a fleet manager that cares more about our safety than the load we should have been picking up this afternoon in Boise.

I'll call again but I think I'm going to go visit the water park aka the showers and maybe eat at that great vacation restaurant - Denny's. :biggrin_25521:

It's wonderful taking the vacation of the not rich & famous. :biggrin_2559:

    Love, Frosty Nana

The storm turned a more northerly course last night - didn't get the pasting on the CO high plains that was promised. Just the same, the high area around Limon got enough to create some wicked ground blizzards - very strong winds along I70 in CO and KS. Trying to snow in Colby KS right now.

WY is notoriously bad about clearing their roads, and letting folks know about anything. I think its something like the same guy that sweeps the office, chains the snowplow, actually runs the one snowplow that WY owns - also gets to update the website in his free time!

WY notion of a snow removal plan... wait until the wind blows it somewhere else...
