Where are you

The ex-truckstop on top of Monteagle - you can still park up here. Fortunately Smokin' B's BBQ is still open - YUM! The gal running the BBQ place said Wilco-Hess bought the truckstop, and will reopen it soon.

 

I remember that place when it used to be the 76 Truckstop. There was a waitress there who was, how shall we say, scary? Like "Annie Wilkes" kinda scary.

 

I quit stopping there years ago...really a pit.

Glad to see it will re-open, though. When did the officially close it?

 

After Cheyenne, we went to Boise, then Los Lunas NM, now headed home to Casa Grande AZ.

 

Do you still have a "co-driver"....or did you let HIM back in from the cat walk?

I hate it when the family refers to me as "HIM"....I know something is up and it most definitely isn't a good thing either!

 

I refer to my beloved as "that man that I team with" or "that other person that I team with" when I'm upset with him.

Yes indeed I did let him back in. lol I can only stay upset for a few hours tops. I just.........love him so. Plus, I have such a bad memory I can't remember what I was upset with him over. LOL at myself.
