Finally made it out of PA. I'm now in NC.

Heading back to PA Saturday.


Gonna have to get a PO box there....

 

Just got home after some fun-n-games at our San Leandro terminal....seems the "manager" of the Bay Area group doesn't cotton to the rules and regs...they assigned me a trailer to bring from San Leandro back to Sac, the "manager" showed me where they had buried the trailer (3 deep>>>so I had to move two to get to the trailer)...as I started to back under the trailer he reaches up and hands me a seal and said seal it up and go, then started to walk back to his car....silly me I know about those pesky things called BOL's...I asked, he responded with..."you have the address on your phone for delivery, right(?)...I answered in the affirmative...."then you have all you need now go!" I asked if he understood the law? He got right in my face screaming about people challenging his knowledge of the law....I handed him back the seal and told him to find another driver, then informed my dispatcher of the circumstances...dispatcher said he would call me back...15 minutes the phone rings i answer and low and behold it is the Director of Safety and the Director of Truckload...conference call with me and the "manager".....I went to the "managers" office and got the BOL's.
