Anyone in the central San Joaquin Valley of California, especially those on the EAST side need to be aware we have incoming storms with a "PineApple Express" connection, meaning heavy rainfall in the Valley and heavier rain in the foothills and very heavy mountain snow is expected!!

If you need help finding out where to get sandbags, please contact me, and I will try to find out where to get them in your area!!!

I hope the house the bank foreclosed on us goes 20 feet under water lol. Funny how when they were building it, it was not in a designated flood zone but a few months after moving in all of a sudden the whole area is now a FEMA 100 year flood zone.

Good! They decided to put up an observation blimp type thing at the Dutch/Aussie base next door. Green Berets told me it was going to get us shelled. They were right. 9 on Sunday about 2:30am and one rocket each after noon yesterday and today. Seems that the Taliban are not the only ones who don't like being watched. Druggies, Ali Baba, etc will join in messing with us for a few weeks. No biggie. We have 20+ thick walls on this base so no bunker time for us.
Hope you get all the rain you need in a controlled fashion. And no swimming in front yard. Bound to be some crazy CA law against that.

Duker, you be safe!! Don't forget to duck when you are supposed to!!

Ranger, make sure you check your brakes and tires before you turn that into an amphibious vehicle!! And make sure you have an escape route in case the water rises too fast.

Scottie, my husband's family has been living here since the early 70's.. and we weren't in a flood zone until last year...
