There is alot being said in these 3 post.

If my mind wasnt in the gutter I wouldn't be thinkin this way either.
If I know you was lookin for new mufflers I could have sold you two straight thru mufflers, pipes and elbows.......cheap.

 

Back at the house just finished some last minute shopping......traffic is just about dangerous out there today..

 

That's how it always works with me... A Day Late.

After I bought this Volvo I ran into another Mercer driver who was selling his KW for 5 grand.... I had just put 5 grand down on my Volvo & was slap broke!

Anyhow.... If I ever have to change another freaking muffler on a big truck.... Someone please shoot me!! It will be much easier for me to accept the pain of a hollow point then a fricken muffler. But I did manage to get it all back together today. I opened up the baffle about an inch & I can actually feel proud of my achomplishments.

I took it out for a bobtailed test drive after everything was done & the blood stopped flowing.... Throttle response is tremendous. Very little turbo lag. Jake brake seems to respond quicker.




Now I have to go replace a couple air lines. Then Sunday I'll look at the connections on my alternator. Monday I have a date with a welder.... Not a cheap date either! He's gonna charge me $175 to weld up a couple cracks & a hole in my trailer deck.... Then once all that is done & if I have any money left....... I may just replace all 3 of my air filters!

 

Bedford NY 684S. Redd, what's happening with the snow forecast down that way. I'll be on 81S to 40W tomorrow.

First genuine drop/hook coming up. Drop in Batesville MS, hook a loaded trlr in same yard and take it to Tampa.

 

After deepening the grooves in I-35 between DFW and Laredo I made it home this morning! Here until next Friday fer sure. Might be Monday before I get a load with these "people".

 

Home in SC...got here around noon after some Christmas shopping for wifey.

Next load is Monday at 1400...gotta start payin' for this stuff!

 

home till sunday evening.going to make one more run with this company then start new gig.

 

Finally home sweet home
