The way I look at it, it could all be gone tomorrow so I will just enjoy each and every day. I just completed my first year of Knight sobriety and believe you me, it feels good. Cold days are warm and cloudy days are sunny. Even if my company folded tomorrow I will still have had the best year trucking I have seen, let alone thought was even possible. I'm always home but yet 3200 miles a week is the norm. It's all round trip freight as in haul out for a regular customer and broker loads back home to repeat the process. Luckily we're doing something right because the owner just purchased 10 brand new trucks and will be replacing the entire fleet of 60 trucks over the next 12 months.

I know had it not been for Knight, I wouldn't have any idea how good I have it now. Like I said it could all be gone tomorrow but I just couldn't go another day sitting in the various arm pits of America waiting for Knight to get around to finding me a measly load to hold me over for a day or two.

Congrats! Sounds like you've moved passed the cheap freight that nobody wants to haul, and the cheap-#####, disrespectful customers with no driver's facilities or lounges that nobody wants to service. Just consider Knight to be 'boot camp,' where just like boot camp you are treated with disrespect and without worth, but now you have graduated and made it to the 'real' world of what trucking is supposed to be....:biggrin_25525:
