last night I left the house about 12:30 so I could run to Chicago, pick up a load, and deliver it to Kalamazoo Mi by 0600. I headed in and was coming down I-95 nar the Gary Indiana area, just before the Ripley St exit. In the distance up ahead of me, I could see a pickup truck with a large crate of some kind in the back. As I got closer, I saw a pair of Harley Davidson wings attached to the crate, and figured it to be a motorcycle someone was carrying.

As I got closer, I realized it was an animal crate, and a pretty good sized on at that, since i had assumed that it was holding a motorcycle in it. Then I pulled up closer as I started to pass him, and realized that inside the crate, which was made like a large dog crate, there was a full grown Tiger walking around. bright yellow with blackish striping, no doubt what it was. This was no domestic cat, but a full fledged, eat Siegfried and Roy type of cat.

At 2 am, boogieing down the highway, that's a real shocker to see in your windshield.

"Real Shockers" as you described (Big wild animal, cheap wooden ex cycle box cage, blazing along in a pickum up truck) are definitely best viewed thru the windshield -Then thru the mirrors as soon as the power to pass
    is procured....
