Rotterdam NY. Just finished a pastrami sub from Subway. Omg so good! I've never had pastrami before. That with some pickles and spicy mustard. wow!

But...I need to vent about today:

    Today sucked giant.....ones.

Went to make my delivery in CT. The whole lot was coated in ice. Not just a little that you can crack while walking on it, like thicker ice. Plus it was on the steps to get up to the receiving office. Not fun!

So I go to back the trailer into the dock. I can't. Either the trailer won't turn because of the ice or my truck gets hung up on it and wheels just start spinning. I'd go to back up and turn the trailer, the thing would just keep going straight. I had almost no traction out there. After trying for about 2 hours and getting into various sliding and jack-knifing predicaments, they finally called a sand truck to come coat the lot in sand so I could get some traction and get into the dock.

Seriously...I'd set my brakes to get out and look and and my truck would start sliding a bit.

Most of my day was wasted there. Like half my day between trying to back into the dock. and then waiting for them to unload me.

Of course they want perfect trailers. They don't want to steal BAD parts off the trailers.
