Just wonderin what kind of "stunts" you have pulled in the past.

Nothing real bad or illegal please. LOL

I used to run for a company called DEEP SOUTH TRUCKING out of Purvis, MS.
Big ol Magnolia flower on blue trucks.
    Anyway,
My "normal run" was to pick up on Friday at the yard, Home by 5pm, leave out Sunday and be in Pittsburg area delivering transformers Monday to power companies. Then up to Niagra Falls to pick up sand grit and deliver in Laredo on Thursday. Then load out of San Antonio, or Beer in Houston, or paper in Orange, and back to Hattiesburg, Ms.
Loaded trailer on yard and start all over.

    I ran for PERCENTAGE.

One week I was unloaded in Laredo on Thursday and my dispatcher had nothing.
Sent me to San Antonio, but nothing there.
Told me to head to Houston friday morning and maybe a beer load, but nothing there either. I spent ALL day waiting for something and no joy.

We loaded all the time in Orange, and I knew this, but what I did next was classic.

Around 2pm Friday, he told me he had nothing in Houston and to "head this way and holler at me in the morning."

I say again... EXACT WORDS WERE....
"Head this way and holler at me in the morning."

    So I did.
I bypassed Orange (knowing that was what "this way" meant), and Saturday morning I was sitting on the yard when he came in.

He wasn't as amused as I thought he would be.

But I did get my pre-loaded trailer and was at home by noon Saturday.
    Wouldn't have happened otherwise.

Also, he had me a load lined up from then on.

    UTurn55 Thanks this.

Years ago we had a run to Louisville and there was a bar across the street were we unloaded. The night watchman was cool with us parking on the lot and us walking over to the bar for a drink. More than once if a driver had a few to many to drink and didnt wanna get up to get unloaded he would get woke up by someone jacking the cab up til they rolled out of bed. .......Aw the good ol days. :biggrin_25520:

A company that I was leased to in the 80's had a couple of drivers that would never be on time to any delivery, You would see them parked at the halfway point every night sleeping.
One night me and a friend of mine decided that it'd be funny to shrink wrap the cab so that when they woke up they wouldn't be able to open the door.

We wrapped both of their trucks with a whole roll of shrinkwrap and then decided that we needed to be there to see the reaction so we knocked on their doors and stepped back to watch....I won't go into detail but it was funny as hell!

That's almost as good as parking your truck against the door of an occupied porta-pottie....Usually occupied by an azzhat foreman......:biggrin_25523:

Sounds like what we did to the warehouse manager at an auto parts warehouse I worked at years ago! :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:We shrink wrapped his car on April Fool's. He was not in the car though.

i worked in a factory that made wrist pins for pistons, and they opened a factory in mexico.
me being a "a keep our jobs at home person" was having issues with the lead person for the department over them shipping thing to mexico

me and another person took the lead persons stacked tool box to shipping and strapped it to a pallet and shrink wrapped it then staged it in shipping with the other stuff going to mexico

he came in at 7 the next morning and was pissed that his tool box was gone. he couldnt find it for anything, then about 1:30 that afternoon someone cane up from shipping and asked when he was moving to mexico.

he knew who did it but he couldnt prove it , the whole department got a good laugh from that

Took a screenshot of the windows desktop, flipped it upside down, and left it open, fullscreen, on the office PC with the taskbar hidden.

Stood back and watched innocently while person after person tried to click on the upside down icons on the screenshot.
