    Yes, yes it was!

Funny, I was in Jackson, MS all day and it was nice, I even loaded and pulled out to chain and tarp outside, in my t-shirt....

One hundred miles up the road it was snowing...:biggrin_25523:

It was a fun ride with only 15k on the wagon.

We was all busting butt up thru Memphis, got on 40 headed east and all hell broke loose! Was running 65, seen brakelights so we all started slowing down. I was in the left lane and watched a guys trailer slide clean off the road. Wheels didn't lock up till I got slowed down to 15mph, then it wouldn't stop. We ended up running the rumble strip to get traction.

I got out of the truck at one point when we was stopped, I had to hold on to it to keep from falling on my butt.

Actually there is more on 20 than on 2 or the turnpike, 20 is a major truck route

Did they get the roads cleaned up yet?

    Lilbit Thanks this.

Oh yeah. I left New Albany (on 78) this morning about 0530. No problems, just slow going. Lots of tracks in the shoulder and median snow, though. The receiver's lot in Covington was fun. Yard jockeys couldn't get enough traction to move loaded trailers to doors. I was gonna drop my trailer after I got unloaded and help them a little bit but I couldn't get out from under trailer even with help. King pin lock was being contrary for some reason.

I hate that pilot.....:biggrin_2559: Had the wife with me one time and broke down at the light. Was a race starting across the intersection running for pinks. Traffic was bad and took over a hour to get a wrecker. Some rude cop kept telling me he was going to tow me if I did not get that truck out of there. Duh that is what I was waiting on a wrecker..:biggrin_25523: I was on the phone with my company and they could hear him ranting and raving. They kept saying he is a behind and a jerk...:biggrin_2559: I was trying not to laugh. Then they told me to tell the fool to go ahead if you can get a wrecker there, they are all tied up working. My wife could not believe how rude the cop was. She had no idea how some are jerks towards truck drivers. That is not why I hate that pilot. Just giving you extra info....:biggrin_2559:
