What's your truck number? Probably the one I turned in. I didn't smoke but the person before me did and it stunk. I had 23608

    i got 23172. 2007 kw t600.

2 weeks in it, cleaned the crap out of it and went through a can of fabreeze, smell is still here. when i go home im gunna throw a handful of baking soda packs in here n hopfuly that helps.

as far as the company i love it so far. takin some time getting used to how they run their ship but im getting the hang of it. one thing ive learned is if they say their going to do something it will happen.

Get some coal and wrap it up in news paper. That should get rid of the smell quickly.

Hey bigtex, are you out of Vegas? I came across some of your other posts, just wondering if you got hired on out of Vegas or your posted location(Texas)?

Mind if I jump on this thread? If I can't find a local gig I may go here.

I'm thinking about it also. Can you bring your dog to orientation?

I don't think you can bring your dog till you get your truck.

Do they allow inverters up to 1500W ?

    Edit:
I just called them and they do allow the larger inverters like this wired to the battery.

california; yes i am got hired out of las vegas. moved back here not too long ago then left werner and made the switch to conway.

comdriver; i actually think you CAN bring your pet to orientation. the hotel they put you in is pet friendly. allthough you will be in orientation about 8-12 hours.
and yes they allow up to 1500w. they have cobras that you can buy from them($200) and they instal them. im buying the same one online for less then $100 tho. for now i just threw a 400w with a peak of 800w just to run my led tv and laptop n what not. and also have a little 100w that plugs into 12v.

so far i am VERY happy with conway truckload. they treat there drivers like drivers should be treated, and realize without us this company/trade wouldnt run. so far ive only heard about 2 people complaining. im on my first hometime now and i was very impressed by my dispatch. did everything he could to get me home on time.
