You ain't that far from Iuka now. Maybe an hour. But don't go unless you are legal.... Those Mississippi DOT officer's have a "THING" for flatbedders.... And there is a scale house right there on 72 before you get to Iuka.

 

That used to be one jacked up loves. Awhile back they redone the parking lot. They had not painted the parking lines yet. The entrance was over by the cb shop or some kind of shop. The exit was straight out of the fuel islands. By early morning it was so jacked up you could not even get out. One trucker just pulled in and parked and slept in the entrance. I was 2 hours trying to get out of that jacked up mess. Next time I went thru there I slept in the rest area.

 

Almost to Joplin for a load-swap, then on to Auburn, IN. Yesterday I was in very warm sunny weather, today it's FREEZING! BRRRRRRR

Home, off til tuesday, going to the Dr. in the AM for a checkup and to see if I get to keep my medical card or not, I was declared type-2 diabetic last week, but for notw it's controlled by diet and exercise.
